Tata Steel Netherlands and ECOLOG, along with various other partners, aim to import hydrogen and export CO2 from Amsterdam.
Green hydrogen is the key to further development of producing green steel. The current rapid development of green hydrogen production as a clean source of energy will allow the steel industry to take major steps in creating a future for emissions free steel. Large scale electrolyses from clean power sources will be needed however to enable the further development of green steel production in the coming decades.
