Vulcan Green Steel (VGS), part of the Jindal Steel Group, is setting up the world’s largest green-hydrogen-ready steel plant in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD) in Oman. The 5MTPA steel plant will be powered completely with renewable energy and equipped with the latest DRI-EAF technology to manufacture plates, hot rolled coils and downstream products for wind energy, construction, automotive and appliances sectors.
